How to look after your leathergoods

Leather is a durable, natural material that develops character over time, but proper care is essential to ensure it ages beautifully and lasts a lifetime. Here are some tips to keep your leather goods in top condition:

  • Clean Regularly: Gently wipe your leather with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. For deeper cleaning, use a leather-specific cleaner, applying it sparingly with a soft cloth.
  • Condition Periodically: Leather can dry out over time, especially with exposure to sunlight or heat. We make our own quality leather balm using natural products to nourish and moisturise the leather, helping it retain its softness and flexibility.

  • Protect from Water: While leather is durable, it’s not waterproof. If your item gets wet, pat it dry with a clean cloth and allow it to air dry naturally. Avoid using heat sources like hair dryers, as these can cause the leather to crack.
