At Nelson & Forge we celebrate the perfect imperfections found in leather. We do not discard leather because it shows the marks of the life the animal from which it came led.
Therefore please expect subtle variations in texture and colour when placing your order. No two pieces of leather will ever be the same.
Warranty Information
At Nelson & Forge, we take immense pride in our craftsmanship and are committed to delivering products of the highest quality. Every item we create is backed by a warranty that covers any defects in materials and craftsmanship. Our promise does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, or the natural aging process of leather, which may develop unique character and patina over time.
We carefully select premium materials, ensuring that each product is not only durable but also distinct in its texture, colour, and grain patterns. Slight variations are a testament to the authenticity of the leather and are to be expected.
Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’re here to assist with any issues. Should you encounter any problems, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly through your order confirmation email or our contact form.

What is your Gift Card policy?
All of our Gift Cards are provided in electronic format meaning we do not offer physical gift cards.
Once purchased, the gift card code can be redeemed in full or partially redeemed against any product on our website.
Gift cards are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. If you are unable to redeem a gift card balance within this time please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
We are unable to offer any refunds for purchased Gift Cards.
Where do you source your materials?
Where possible we prefer to use materials that have been produced in the UK. This includes Leather from tanneries based in Devon and Bristol and hardware produced in Walsall. However, where a specific material or piece of hardware is required for a particular product that isn’t available in this country, we may have to venture further afield.
Returns & Exchanges
Can I exchange or return my order for a refund?
We hope that this never has to happen, but in the event that you're unhappy with one of our products, we'll gladly issue a refund for the purchase price of the item if it is returned in new condition within 7 days of arriving at your destination. The customer is responsible for all shipping fees.
If our product is the wrong size or colour for you, we will exchange it for the correct product within 14 business days of the purchase date. The original item must be returned in like new condition. If you've ordered a belt please check the size first by looping the belt around your waist without doing it up. This will give you a good idea whether or not the belt is the right size without marking the leather.
A replacement will be sent once the original item has been received. The customer is responsible for all shipping fees.
If you've requested any modifications or customisations WE WILL NOT be able to accept a return or a refund as it is NOT a product design we have displayed on our website and cannot be resold.
Shipping Information
Are my goods insured in transit?
Yes, we ensure all items sent to our courier are insured up to the value of the purchase. This means that you are covered should your package be lost in transit.
How long will it take to receive my order?
All products on our website are handmade and we prefer to make goods properly instead of quickly. Whilst every effort is made to ensure you receive your order as soon as possible lead times will often vary depending on the current order book.
Once made we use a tracked and insured Royal Mail service for all of our domestic postage options and so once posted delivery is approximately 24 hours.
Any delays experienced by the Royal Mail are outside of our control.
We only post packages on business days.
Do you accept international orders?
Of course we do!
We use FedEx and UPS for our international customers. As you can imagine postage costs vary depending on locations so we have a couple of flat rates for orders outside of the UK.
Do you ship to the EU?
Unfortunately since the EU's new General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR) came into force on 13th December 2024 we are now unable to sell our products into the EU. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Product Information
How do I measure my belt size?
VERY IMPORTANT - For the best fit measure an existing belt from the tip of the buckle to the hole you use most
DO NOT use your waist size or the waist band of your trousers as this is never a true reflection of the belt size you require.
If you do not have an existing belt, add 4 inches to your jeans size and round up to the nearest inch.
